Subject: Amazing
The vibe was in the air at this show. Pulled over by the State Police on the way up. Frisked on the hood. Friend taken to jail and bailed out.
Still the show, After drums still feeds my mind after 20 years seeing Jerry do the Day Tripper.
Then leave the arena BIG SNOW, get kicked out of the hotel and sleep in front of gate #1 at the airport. Seen 250+ shows and this one is the keeper. Get the Oades Aud.

One of my all-time favorite 2nd sets. Jerry had that amazing growl in his voice in '85, used to great effect here. The Oade version is probably more fun to listen to since the audience was REALLY into it this night. But this set deserves to be in your collection twice. Dig the echoey He's Gone coda into Miracle as well. All this set needed was a more interesting encore.

Dude I was at this show and to hear this crispy soundboad brought tears to my eyes. I have been listening to a crappy audience tape of this show for years and was happy with that. Jerry was definately ON this night.

Subject: Wow!
The sound quality of this 2nd set is fantastic!!! Its such a pity that Jerry's voice was shredded during this run of shows. (I dont think his voice got better until the summer shows. However, Jerry's playing, Bobby's voice, and the rest of the band's playing is over the top!! Down load & hear for self.....
